At the last SIMA show in Paris, Lucas G presented one of the new models of its full range of self-propelled dietfeeders : The AutoSpire, 16m3.
For Lucas G, 2011 will be the year of the launching of the self-propelled range, with the very first machine delivered at the end of 2010, there was no better place than Paris to introduce the version 16/18m3.
This model completes our range of machines and offers livestock breeders a high-performance, comfortable machine, to prepare everyday food supply to herd.
The machine shown here has a Deutz Engine (175HP - Tier3A) with hydrostatic drive.

LUCAS G uses SAUER DANFOSS hydraulic components (pump and motor) for the best possible performance and machine reliability.
The machine has "Work" or "Road" drive options to be as close as possible to breeders needs.
The 2m wide loading shredder allows to load silage up to 5m high.
Equipped in standard with 36 knives it is possible to add additional knives depending on breeders needs.
Its V flared shape and the belt with the dome optimize loading time and flow.
For the best possible machine performance, Lucas G offers to breeders the choice between 2 or 4 driving wheels and 2 or 4 steering wheels to facilitate circulation and access to hilly areas.
You can drive laterally with the machine and have a turning circle less than 7m outside the machine with the 16/18m3.
All models are homologated at 25 and 40 Km/h.
The front axle has an hydraulic suspension with cylinders and an assisted braking with disks (4 in the back, 2 in the front).
To have the easiest maintenance possible, greasing points are regrouped so 22 points are grouped in 2 points with the 2 steering wheel model, and 26 points grouped in 3 in 4 steering wheel version, and this represents about 80% of the greasing points.
An automatic greasing pump is also available.
The easy access to all components will allow easy and efficient maintenance.
For early morning work in good conditions, the livestock breeder is comfortably housed in a agricultural telescopic handler style cab, in a seat with armrests
The machine is driven by a multifunction joystick (as on harvester) and with the same hand, you can lift and lower the loading arm, open and close the trap door, and operate the hydraulic offset of the feeding conveyor.
On the dashboard, users can survey the pressure on the loading shredder and adjust the loading flow. An accurate loading is able thanks to the programmable weighing unit. Farmers will appreciate all options such as ticket printing or data transfer.
The cabin can also be equipped with air conditionning and/or radio.
As well as the good visibility offered by the cab, the user can also fit 4 colored cameras to the machine (feeding right and left, reverse and inside the tank).
Distribution is done by a feeding conveyor, or by direct trap door.
The mixer, from the Spirmix range, is not only
equipped with the mixing auger, but also with a big trap door 1,2m x 0,7m which makes distribution easier. The conveyor belt speed is driven directly from within the cab.
